Book Releases November 2017
Another year almost over and it is time for NaNoWriMo again, so there will not be much time for me to get my hands on these books yet. But these are the books I am looking forward to this November.

Almost Midnight by Rainbow Rowell (November 2)
Synopsis
Almost Midnight by Rainbow Rowell is a beautiful gift edition containing two wintery short stories, decorated throughout for the first time with gorgeous black and white illustrations by Simini Blocker.
Midnights is the story of Noel and Mags, who meet at the same New Year’s Eve party every year and fall a little more in love each time . . .
Kindred Spirits is about Elena, who decides to queue to see the new Star Wars movie and meets Gabe, a fellow fan.
Midnights was previously published as part of the My True Love Gave to Me anthology, edited by Stephanie Perkins and Kindred Spirits was previously published as a World Book Day title.
Even though my experience with Railbow Rowell thusfar has been good and bad I am willing to give it another try and these two shorts really sound interesting.
Kat and Meg Conquer the World by Anna Priemaza (November 7)
Synopsis
Kat and Meg couldn’t be more different. Kat’s anxiety makes it hard for her to talk to people. Meg hates being alone, but her ADHD keeps pushing people away. But when the two girls are thrown together for a year-long science project, they discover they do have one thing in common: They’re both obsessed with the same online gaming star and his hilarious videos.
It might be the beginning of a beautiful friendship—if they don’t kill each other first.
Already the title of Kat and Meg Conquer the World got my interest, the synopsis made it even more interesting to me. I am curious about this adventure.

I have loved The Mortal Instruments from the first novel on and I like graphic novels, so I am really curious about this graphic novel
Bonfire by Krysten Ritter (November 7)

Bonfire got my interest because I found the character of Abby Williams interesting. Also this supposed to be the actress from The Defenders and Jessica Jones and I think she is a good actress.
Renegades (Renegades #1) by Marissa Meyer (November 7)

I really like Marissa Meyers novels! She is such a good writer and usually she has something novel to write about. I am curious what she has come up with now.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: Illustrated Edition by J.K. Rowling (November 7)
Synopsis

With this beautiful, large-scale new edition illustrated in full color, Muggles too will have the chance to discover where the Runespoor lives, what the Puffskein eats, and why shiny objects should always be kept away from the Niffler.
I really like the illustrated editons of the Harry Potter novels. And even though this illustrated edition is done by a different artist, I am curious if I still like them.
Artemis – Andy Weir (November 14)
Synopsis
Jazz Bashara is a criminal.
Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you’re not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you’ve got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent.

But pulling off the impossible is just the start of her problems, as she learns that she’s stepped square into a conspiracy for control of Artemis itself—and that now, her only chance at survival lies in a gambit even riskier than the first.
I loved The Martian and I have read some of his shorts on his website. I am cursious if Andy has kept his style and quality up for Artemis.
The Magic Misfits – Neil Patrick Harris (November 21)
Synopsis
When street magician Carter runs away, he never expects to find friends and magic in a sleepy New England town. But like any good trick, things change instantly as greedy B.B. Bosso and his crew of crooked carnies arrive to steal anything and everything they can get their sticky fingers on.
After a fateful encounter with the local purveyor of illusion, Dante Vernon, Carter teams up with five other like-minded kids. Together, using both teamwork and magic, they’ll set out to save the town of Mineral Wells from Bosso’s villainous clutches.
I am curious what Neil Patrick Harris has come up with for our Middle Grade children. It sounds very interesting.
R.I.P. Eliza Hart – Alyssa B. Sheinmel (November 28)
Synopsis
When Eliza Hart, the most popular girl at Ventana Ranch boarding school, is found dead on the cliffs outside her dormitory, Ellie Sokoloff is determined to figure out what happened to her. After all, Eliza was Ellie’s childhood best friend.

Or that Ellie’s claustrophobia limits where she can go and what she can do. Or that Ellie’s suitemate, Sam, is the only one who will help her . . . because to everyone else, Ellie looks like the top suspect.
Can Ellie clear her name and solve the mystery behind Eliza’s death? Her hunt for the truth will uncover secrets she never imagined, sending her deep into her own memories of her childhood with Eliza Hart.
R.I.P. Eliza Hart sounds so intersting! I want to get my hands on this novel asap. Luckily it comes out by the end of the month and so I do not have to wait too long after it comes out.
