Supports the Common Core State Standards

I give Writer to Writer by Gail Carson Levine four out of five hearts because I thought it was an interesting concept to publish a couple of posts from her blog answering her readers questions from the comments.

Gail Carson Levine writes very clear and funny. She uses a lot of interesting examples to show what she means during her advice and her book doesn’t feel like the dry theory that some creative writing books can be.

Because this was a collection of blog posts I found that I didn’t learn almost nothing from this book. Not because I read her blog, but just because they were things I had already found out through other books and were nothing new.
