On My Shelf

On My Shelf is an original feature inspired by the On My Shelf tag. Each time I will take 5 random books from my shelves and tell you about them (how I got them, what I think of them etc.), and if they are in Dutch I will write a small synopsis of them.
I will roll some dice to find out which books it will be.

White Cat (Curse Workers #1) by Holly Black

I did not enjoy White Cat very much. So I never bought the rest of the series

The Spiderwick Chronicles by Holly Black & Tonny DiTerlizzi

I got this book just after the movie came out. I read it, but found it was for a bit younger audience then I was at the time. I have not read it again.

The Weirdstone of Brisingamen (Tales of Alderley #1) by Alan Garner

I enjoyed this book so much when I was younger. My copy is almost destroyed and would like to get a new one, even though the cover is beautiful and no where else to be found.

Waking the Moon by Elizabeth Hand

This book is so beautifully written, I like it very much even though the story was not right for me.

The Left Hand of God (The Left Hand of God #1) by Paul Hoffman

I never got to finish this book. I did not like it all that much and then life got in the way.
