On My Shelf is an original feature inspired by the On My Shelf tag. Each time I will take 5 random books from my shelves and tell you about them (how I got them, what I think of them etc.), and if they are in Dutch I will write a small synopsis of them.

Tales of the Peculiar (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children #0.5) by Ransom Riggs
I bought this book after a long search in Ireland on my holiday. It took me forever to find it because of it not being sold as a paperback. Hardcovers are much harder to find in the general books-store I noticed. But I finally found it and I was so happy with it! I started reading it the same evening and since then never opened it again (for now, it has only been 4 weeks). What I read so far was nice.
Brisignr (Inheritance Cycle #3) by Christopher Paolini
I got this book on its release date because I was such a big fan of the first 2 books. But when I got half way through I did not like it as much anymore and never read on. I do not know what I think about the book these days, because it has been years. Maybe it is time for a reread?
Hunger Games (Hunger Games #1) by Suzanne Collins
I got this book because the store owner advised me on it when I was looking for something like Twilight. I have no clue how that person got to say those are simulair. But I did like it a lot and soon after bought the other two books.
Glass Sword (Red Queen #2) by Victoria Aveyard
I got this book before I read Red Queen, but since I like they synopsis of them I thought I would like them. I do not how ever, there are so many things wrong with them. If you would like to know, please read my review.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone (Daughter of Smoke and Bone #1) by Laini Taylor
Recently I saw the box set of Daughter of Smoke and Bone series standing in a store and I bought it. It has been on my wishlist for a while now and I am very glad I have it. I hope to get to reading it soon, but have not had the chance.
