On My Shelf #46

On My Shelf is an original feature inspired by the On My Shelf tag. Each time I will take 5 random books from my shelves and tell you about them (how I got them, what I think of them etc.), and if they are in Dutch I will write a small synopsis of them.
I will roll some dice to find out which books it will be.

The Power of Three (Charmed #1) by Constance M. Burge

In The Netherlands The Power of Three was one of the last Charmed books to come out. But I need to have. I have always liked Prue much better than Paige. I liked it too.

The Long Walk by Stephen King

I bought The Long Walk as one of my first action novels. I enjoyed it a lot, it had some really gruesome pieces and not really suitable for young readers. But no one prevented me from reading it.

Grave Secrets (Temperance Brennan #5) by Kathy Reichs

I always watched Bones on tv and found this novel during one of my trips to the bookstore. I enjoyed Grave Secrets a lot. It kept me on the edge of my seat and made me want to read more by Kathy Reichs.

Dark Magick (Sweep/Wicca #4) by Cate Tiernan

I needed the next Sweep/Wicca novel as soon as I was done with the last one. I think I liked Dark Magick as one of the bests, because this is the one where something very big is revealed.

The Guardian of the Way by Diane Moat

I got The Guardian of the Way for the Booktour last December I joined in. I enjoyed it A LOT. It felt like reading Lord of the Rings but without the long descriptions everywhere. It was great!

For now, let books enrich your life!
