Synopsis
One day I might break
One day I might break freeNothing will ever be the same.
The fate of Omega Point is unknown. Everyone Juliette has ever cared about could be dead. The war could be over before it ever really began.
Juliette is the only one standing in The Reestablishment’s way. She knows that if she’s going to survive, The Reestablishment cannot.
But to take down The Reestablishment and the man who very nearly killed her, Juliette will need the help of the one person she never thought she could trust: Warner. And as they work together to bring down their enemy, Juliette will discover that everything she thought she knew—about Warner, her abilities, and even Adam—was wrong.
I gave Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi two out of five hearts, though I think that is generous. Because I did not like it and can not find even the slightest thing I liked about it.
Juliette has finally made up her mind on which of the two boys she wants to spend her days and it makes Adam very whiny. Juliette is still very upset about not being able to kill Warners father and finally gets to do it. She gets a handle on her ocd, so that was a plus for me, because it annoyed me so much.
I still adore James, Adams little brother. The boy has not idea what is appropriate and what isn’t and this give great situations when Warner comes to visit.
I also thought the book started very suddenly. And since I had read the first two novels a while ago, I had no idea what was going on until I was about 50 pages in, which is already over 10 percent in. I think that is not very smart.
Overall I do not think this serie is as well written as a lot of people make it seem. I do have to say the series is original in it’s writing and in the world building. But I do think it is too convenant that Adam can touch Juliette, but killing himself in the meantime and Warner can, without killing himself. So it what world would she not end up with Warner…
