Will That Be All?
I needed to read Only Human as soon as it came out because I loved the previous books. It took me less than a day to finish it.

Synopsis
In her childhood, Rose Franklin accidentally discovered a giant metal hand buried beneath the ground outside Deadwood, South Dakota. As an adult, Dr. Rose Franklin led the team that uncovered the rest of the body parts which together form Themis: a powerful robot of mysterious alien origin. She, along with linguist Vincent, pilot Kara, and the unnamed Interviewer, protected the Earth from geopolitical conflict and alien invasion alike. Now, after nearly ten years on another world, Rose returns to find her old alliances forfeit and the planet in shambles. And she must pick up the pieces of the Earth Defense Corps as her own friends turn against each other.
I give Only Human by Sylvain Neuvel five out of five hearts because it was amazing!
Nine years have past since the last book and Rose, Eva and Vincent have spend that time on the planet where Themis came from. The world has changed a lot, it is great. America did exactly I was afraid of at the end of Waking Gods. I loved how much thought has gone into developing this world.
Sylvain writes such strong character development and good world building. The story is action packed, fast paced and dark. I loved the language the author made for the aliens. Because I think series like Star Trek and such are stupid for having the language always be English even when there are no humans around. The story is very enjoyable and I wish there was more.
The novel’s weakest point is the new character, Katherine Lebedev. She seems a bit dumb and too bubbly to the point of unbelievable.
