Readers Confession Tag!

Okay, so every once in a while you commit a sin, or did something you did not intent to happen.
I saw this tag on Spines and Covers.com. With this tag I will confess all my sins towards books!

Have you ever damaged your own book?

Oh my, so many times. I drop them, throw them and are not really careful with them. I am sorry to say I have more damaged books in my possession then not.

Have you ever damaged a borrowed book?

Once I let a book I borrowed from my best friend drop into the bathtub. I was reading it and fell asleep. It was a signed copy of Magus of Stonewylde by Kit Berry. I am still sorry about that.

How long does it take you to read a book?

I read about 100 pages in an evening, next to other things I do. But I can read up to 700 pages a day, if I have to.

Books that you haven’t finished?

The Calling by James Frey.
I think it is an interesting book, but it is so think I have troubles focusing on it for very long.

Rubinrot by Kerstin Gier
I am reading this book in German. I have troubles translating the language to something I can understand.

Hyped/Popular books you don’t like?

I do not like the Ruby Red trilogy. I do not get where the hype is coming from.

Classics you didn’t enjoy?

Emma by Jane Austin

Books you bought just for the intellectual-ness off it all?

Intellectual-ness? I have a few books on chemistry and biology, but I got them for school. All my intellectual books have a use.

Any books you haven’t given back?

I always give borrowed books back. I still have Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins and Lock & Key by Sarah Dessing on my shelf and I borrowed those. But they will go back to their owner as soon as I have finished them.
