On My Shelf is an original feature inspired by the On My Shelf tag. Each time I will take 5 random books from my shelves and tell you about them (how I got them, what I think of them etc.), and if they are in Dutch I will write a small synopsis of them.
I will roll some dice to find out which books it will be.
Winter (Lunar Chronicles #4) by Marissa Meyer
I got this book when it came out, but did not like it. It was a very bad conclusion to a otherwise very good series.
A Court of Thornes and Roses (A Court of Thornes and Roses #1) by Sarah J. Maas
I bought this book recently on a binge. I have not read it yet, but I just put it on my Fall TBR and hope to get to it during the next two months.
New Moon (Twilight #2) by Stephenie Meyer
Out of all the Twilight books, I do not like this one as much. I got it together with Twilight for my birthday/Christmas. I kind of like it, but also have some issues with this one.
The Ersatz Elevator (A Series of Unfortunate Events #6) by Lemony Snicket
I found this book a couple of weeks ago during my holiday in Ireland in a second hand book store. I have not read it yet, but it is the next book in the series I have to start reading and it is on my Fall TBR of this year. I am very curious if I like it as much as the first 5 novels.
Inheritance (Inheritance Cycle #4) by Christopher Paolini
I got this when it came out from my parents for Christmas, it had been the gift they were giving me since the second book and I left it to them to get me these books. I started reading it, but never finished it. It felt very childish to me (okay okay, I had gotten older and it was in Dutch) and did not like it anymore. I do have the wish to reread the English ones and get this one in English too.
