Book Releases January 2017
A new year and a lot more new releases! I am looking forwardto emptying my ‘Dutch’ bookshelves and loading them full of new English books. So if anyone is intersted in Dutch books, just let me know!

Wayfarer (Passenger #2) by Alexandra Bracken (January 3)
Synopsis

I did not get to read Passanger yet, it got mixed reviews. But I hope Wayfarer will push me over and make me read both books this year.
Windwitch (The Witchlands #2) by Susan Dennard (January 10)
Synopsis

Last year I did not get to read Truthwitch yet, so I hope the release of Windwitch pushes me to read both books. I heard good things about the series so I would like to read this one too.
Frosblood (Frostblood Saga #1) by Elly Blake (January 17)
Synopsis

I have never heard of Elly Blake. But the synopsis of this book sound great. It makes me very curious for Frostblood.
Carve the Mark (Untitled #1) by Veronica Roth (January 17)

I have Carve the Mark already pre-ordered. I am taking a huge guess with this one. I am looking forward to it, but I hope it is nothing like Alliagent. This book either makes it or breaks it for me with Veronica Roth, I hope.
Caraval (Caraval #1) by Stephanie Garber (January 31)
Synopsis
Scarlett has never left the tiny island where she and her beloved sister, Tella, live with their powerful, and cruel, father. Now Scarlett’s father has arranged a marriage for her, and Scarlett thinks her dreams of seeing Caraval, the far-away, once-a-year performance where the audience participates in the show, are over.
But this year, Scarlett’s long-dreamt of invitation finally arrives. With the help of a mysterious sailor, Tella whisks Scarlett away to the show. Only, as soon as they arrive, Tella is kidnapped by Caraval’s mastermind organizer, Legend. It turns out that this season’s Caraval revolves around Tella, and whoever finds her first is the winner.
Scarlett has been told that everything that happens during Caraval is only an elaborate performance. But she nevertheless becomes enmeshed in a game of love, heartbreak, and magic with the other players in the game. And whether Caraval is real or not, she must find Tella before the five nights of the game are over, a dangerous domino effect of consequences is set off, and her sister disappears forever.
Caraval has been on my pre-order list for a while now, I keep hearing good things about it and want to jump on the hype weagon earlier this year.
