On My Shelf #35

On My Shelf is an original feature inspired by the On My Shelf tag. Each time I will take 5 random books from my shelves and tell you about them (how I got them, what I think of them etc.), and if they are in Dutch I will write a small synopsis of them. I will also put the links to my reviews if I have them.
I will roll some dice to find out which books it will be.

Red Rising (Red Rising #1) by Pierce Brown

I got Red Rising recently because I put it last year on my TBR list for this year and noticed I actually did not have it in my possession. I have not read it yet, but it makes me pretty curious. I still hope to open it this year though.

Sookie Stackhouse Omibus 4-6 by Charlaine Harris

I got this from my then boyfriend, because he had seen the first two novels on my shelfs and he thought I liked them, since I also watched True Blood at the time. I do really like the three novels in this novel. The only problem I have with this edition is the size. The books in this series are not that tick, but because these are three in one and it quite a big font, it is huge. I am not kidding, if you throw it at someone it will hurt! A lot!

Eclipse (Twilight #3) by Stephenie Meyer

After reading Twilight and New Moon, I fell into this Twilight craze, so I bought Eclipse and tore thru it fast. I think I enjoyed it then, but when rereading the series, I also dislike this one a bit. I don’t know why, maybe too cheesy?

Insurgent (Divergent #2) by Veronica Roth

I got Insurgent as a boxset of Divergent at the release of Allegiant. I have mixed feelings, but I think they are still pretty positive, compared to Allegiant. Just read my review from last Wednesday.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Harry Potter #2) by J.K. Rowling

For some weird reason I got Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, in Dutch, the last. It is signed as a birthday present from my then best friend and she gave it to me to make my collection complete. I am amazed by this information! I also have an English copy I bought myself when I was trying to collect the English ones second hand, which is for some reason pretty hard. Now I just have the complete collection in hardcovers anyway! I like this one, it might be my second favorite, but I do not know. I just like the character of Ginny and she is so prominently featured in this book.

For now, let books enrich your life!
