On My Shelf #6

On My Shelf

On My Shelf is an original feature inspired by the On My Shelf tag. Each time I will take 5 random books from my shelves and tell you about them (how I got them, what I think of them etc.), and if they are in Dutch I will write a small synopsis of them.

I will roll some dice to find out which books it will be.

Stray (Four Sisters #1) by Elissa Sussman

I love the cover of this book and motivated me to buy it. I am still fight to read it, but it is on my TBR for this year.

The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis

I bought this book because I had heard the English version of the Narnia stories were so much better then the Dutch ones. I was sceptical, because I read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrope in Dutch and it completely sucks. But I love the English version!

Isolde by Ruth Nestvold

This book has great art on the cover. And I am a great sucker for art on covers… So I bought this one. I liked thee story and should reread it sometime again.

Half Bad by Sally Green

I heard of this book and wanted it, but never got to it. But I got it for my birthday last year, but still haven’t read it. Too bad. But will do so this year, since the whole series is on my TBR list this year.

The Valley of Horses (Earth’s Children #2) by Jean M. Auel

I love the Earth’s Children series. The are well written and so beautiful! I bought my copy at a secondhand store, were I went to a lot of the times after school when I was younger.

I hope you enjoy my weekly rants on my books. If you have some suggestion for me what to buy next, let me know in the comments or contact me!

For now, let books enrich your life!
