Recap September 2016

In Recap I will tell you guys what I read this month, what books I bought this month and how far I am with my Goodreads Reading Challenge. I have given myself a new goal for the rest of the year. I would like to upgrade my amount of books read this year to another 100% of the original amount I wanted to go for, so I would like to read 140 books this year, let’s see how far I can get with it.

Read

Even though I had 12 days of holiday during this month, I did not acutaly read more then other months. I might say, I read less because of it (probably because I rather spend time with my buddies then actually reading during holidays).

This month I read The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan and Blood Witch by Cate Tiernan before I actually went away. Then during the holiday I read The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells, The Miserable Mill and The Austere Academy by Lemony Snicket. After I got back home I read Retrograde by Robert Brown, Uprooted by Naomi Novik and A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. Reviews will be up soon of some of these books.

Bought

Due to the release of some books I bought a few.

I bought Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas, Tales of the Peculiar by Ransom Riggs, Dark X-men by Paul Cornell and a secondhand edition of The Ersatz Elevator by Lemony Snicket.

Goodread Reading Challenge

Even though I did not read this much this month, I did reach past the 100 books this month. A total of 102! Of which 20 rereads, 24 TBR-reads and 58 non-TBR-reads.
