The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw

Children of Blood and Bone (Legacy of Orïsha #1) by Tomi Adeyemi (March 6)
Synopsis
Zélie remembers when her land still burned brightly with magic — the way it was before a ruthless king destroyed it all. Now, she has a chance to bring back the magic — and hope — to her people. But first, she first must outwit the crown prince.
Even though the synopsis is very short, it pulls at me! I want to read this NOW.
The Final Six by Alexandra Monir (March 6)
Synopsis
When Leo, an Italian championship swimmer, and Naomi, a science genius from California, are two of the twenty-four teenagers drafted into the International Space Training Camp, their lives are forever changed. Overnight, they become global celebrities in competition for one of the six slots to travel to Europa—Jupiter’s moon—and build a new home for humankind. After countless floods, earthquakes, and erratic climate change, Earth has become a deadly place to live. The fate of the population rests on the shoulders of the final six who will be scouting the new territory. For Leo, the last surviving member of his family who were killed in a tidal wave, the purpose of the mission is a reason to go on. Naomi, however, is suspicious of the ISTC and the fact that their previous mission, the Athena, failed under mysterious circumstances, killing everyone onboard. As the ISTC gets more and more secretive, Naomi’s fear grows over what could be awaiting the final six on Europa. In this competitive atmosphere, surrounded by strangers from around the world who would stop at nothing to make it to the final six, Naomi finds an unexpected friend in Leo. As the training tests their limits, Naomi and Leo’s relationship deepens with each mind-boggling experience they encounter. But it’s only when the finalists become fewer and their destinies grow nearer that the two can fathom the full weight of everything at stake: the world, the stars, and their lives.
The Final Six sounds like a great Science-Fiction novel. I am hoping the books will be as great as the synopsis.
To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo (March 6)
Synopsis
Princess Lira is siren royalty and the most lethal of them all. With the hearts of seventeen princes in her collection, she is revered across the sea. Until a twist of fate forces her to kill one of her own. To punish her daughter, the Sea Queen transforms Lira into the one thing they loathe most—a human. Robbed of her song, Lira has until the winter solstice to deliver Prince Elian’s heart to the Sea Queen or remain a human forever.
The ocean is the only place Prince Elian calls home, even though he is heir to the most powerful kingdom in the world. Hunting sirens is more than an unsavory hobby—it’s his calling. When he rescues a drowning woman in the ocean, she’s more than what she appears. She promises to help him find the key to destroying all of sirenkind for good—But can he trust her? And just how many deals will Elian have to barter to eliminate mankind’s greatest enemy?
I have heard many great things about this novel and together with the sysnopsis make me want to read To Kill a Kingdom.
The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw (March 6)
Synopsis
Welcome to the cursed town of Sparrow…
Where, two centuries ago, three sisters were sentenced to death for witchery. Stones were tied to their ankles and they were drowned in the deep waters surrounding the town.
Now, for a brief time each summer, the sisters return, stealing the bodies of three weak-hearted girls so that they may seek their revenge, luring boys into the harbor and pulling them under.
Like many locals, seventeen-year-old Penny Talbot has accepted the fate of the town. But this year, on the eve of the sisters’ return, a boy named Bo Carter arrives; unaware of the danger he has just stumbled into.
Mistrust and lies spread quickly through the salty, rain-soaked streets. The townspeople turn against one another. Penny and Bo suspect each other of hiding secrets. And death comes swiftly to those who cannot resist the call of the sisters.
But only Penny sees what others cannot. And she will be forced to choose: save Bo, or save herself.
The Wicked Deep sounds super interesting. A mix between Hocus Pocus and Practical Magic, both movies I really liked when I was younger.
The Heart Forger (The Bone Witch #2) by Rin Chupeco (March 20)
Synopsis
In The Bone Witch, Tea mastered resurrection―now she’s after revenge…
No one knows death like Tea. A bone witch who can resurrect the dead, she has the power to take life…and return it. And she is done with her self-imposed exile. Her heart is set on vengeance, and she now possesses all she needs to command the mighty daeva. With the help of these terrifying beasts, she can finally enact revenge against the royals who wronged her―and took the life of her one true love.
But there are those who plot against her, those who would use Tea’s dark power for their own nefarious ends. Because you can’t kill someone who can never die…
War is brewing among the kingdoms, and when dark magic is at play, no one is safe.
I loved The Bone Witch and have been waiting for the second novel in the series since it came out.
Ice Wolves (Elementals #1) by Amie Kaufman (March 27)
Synopsis
Everyone in Vallen knows that ice wolves and scorch dragons are sworn enemies who live deeply separate lives. So when twelve-year-old orphan Anders takes one elemental form and his twin sister, Rayna, takes another, he wonders whether they are even related. Still, whether or not they’re family, Rayna is Anders’s only true friend. She’s nothing like the brutal, cruel dragons who claimed her as one of their own and stole her away. In order to rescue her, Anders must enlist at the foreboding Ulfar Academy, a school for young wolves that values loyalty to the pack above all else. But for Anders, loyalty is more complicated than obedience, and friendship is the most powerful shapeshifting force of all.
I am curious how Amie Kaufman writes without Jay Kristoff.
The Queens of Innis Lear by Tessa Gratton (March 27)
Synopsis
Three sisters born under different stars, sharing the same tragic ancestry and ambitious destiny, vie with each other and with the kings who will be their allies, enemies, and pawns, in a dangerous, sexy, deadly game for power, ignited by the madness of a declining king and the reappearance of a bastard soldier who wants to tear it all down.
The synopsis of The Queens of Innis Lear sounds super, I am hoping to pick this book up as soon as it come out.
