The nice weather is leaving us again, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t loads of books the be released this month.

I loved Serpent & Dove and I really would like to go where it is going now. I have heard very mixed reviews, but it doesn’t make me want to read it less. So who knows.
Fable (Fable #1) by Adrienne Young (September 1)

I have greatly enjoyed Adrienne Young’s writing and I hope this new tale will be just as fun and original as her other novels. Also, Fable’s cover makes me think of a Dutch book I once read when I was young (could have been a translation), hopefully, it will be just as enjoyable as that Dutch book.
The Lost Book of the White (The Eldest Curses #2) by Cassandra Clare & Wesley Chu (September 1)
Synopsis

Fortunately, their backup consists of Clary, Jace, Isabelle, and newly minted Shadowhunter Simon. In Shanghai, they learn that a much darker threat awaits them. I will never pass on a Magnus book even though I am getting over my Cassandra Clare fascination. So The Lost Book of the White is definitely on my next Amazon order.

Ever since I reread the Twilight Saga, I’ve been longing for more vampires (that do not sparkle). I am hoping Vampires Never Get Old will satisfy that need.
Skyhunter (Skyhunter #1) by Marie Lu (September 29)

Marie Lu has always been a little hit or miss, but I am willing to give her a chance since I haven’t read her latest 2/3 books. Skyhunter at least sounds very interesting.
