Synopsis
For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf—her wolf—is a chilling presence she can’t seem to live without.

Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human… until the cold makes him shift back again.

Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. It’s her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human—or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.

I had been looking to read this book. But because it was a bit running out of time, I tried the audio book for this one. Since I like talking about the book and will try to keep it too only the style of the book and not the way it was told.

Truth be told, I did not like this one. It is written in, my eyes, a very childish way. The characters were not as developed as they could be and there were a few plot holes. And ever since the tv series ‘Lost’ came out, I really hate plot holes! Which kinda killed my will to finish the series.

There is not much more I think I can say. I felt really like getting a cold shower, where I expected a nice, comfy one.

Also, weird kind of werewolf! Some people might not mind a new kind of werewolf, but I do not really like variations on classic ‘monsters’ – I prefer to call werewolves non-monsters, because they may also be protagonists in books.

This book is followed by Linger and Forever, for any one who is interested
