On My Shelf #27

On My Shelf is an original feature inspired by the On My Shelf tag. Each time I will take 5 random books from my shelves and tell you about them (how I got them, what I think of them etc.), and if they are in Dutch I will write a small synopsis of them.
I will roll some dice to find out which books it will be.

Eragon (The Inheritance Cycle #1) by Christopher Paolini

I bought this book because there was a dragon on the cover, lamest excuse ever! But I really liked the book and so when my mom asked me next Christmas what I wanted, I told her I wanted these books, when they came out next. I think The Inheritance Cycle were my Christmaspresents for the next couple of years.

The Road to Paradiso by Epica

This book is about the Dutch metal band Epica. One of my favorite bands. So I had to get this book. But also because some of my pictures are in there (if I remember rightly, 3 of them actually). It is a great book, with info about the band, but also pictures from their 4 year existence. I like just reading through it and seeing how something so small can be become great.

After You (Me Before You #2) by Jojo Moyes

I bought this book at the same time as Me Before You. I did not read it yet. But will soon, I hope)

The Toystore at the End of the world (The Airship Pirate Chronicles #3) by Robert Brown

I got the book for Christmas last year from a friend. He actually got it signed and wanted to give it for my birthday (which is like 2 weeks earlier), but did not receive it in time and then he only got to give it to me just after Christmas. I have not read it yet, but it is going to come with me on my holiday to Ireland tomorrow!

A Gathering of Shadows (Shades of Magic #2) by V.E. Schwab

I got this book when it got released, recently. Because I really liked the first book and love the covers of this series. I am reading it, but have not finished it yet. Up to this point I still like it. It makes me want to read more by Victoria Schwab.

For now, let books enrich your life!
