Om My Shelf #33

On My Shelf is an original feature inspired by the On My Shelf tag. Each time I will take 5 random books from my shelves and tell you about them (how I got them, what I think of them etc.), and if they are in Dutch I will write a small synopsis of them.
I will roll some dice to find out which books it will be.

The Maze Runner (The Maze Runner #1) by James Dashner

I bought this one is a boxset with the other parts in this trilogy and the prologue, last year or start of this year. I do not like this series, it was okay-ish, but the complete series was a waste of time for me.

City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments #1) by Cassandra Clare

I bought this book on Greece, during my internship there. I was looking for new things to read and I had heard great things about this series. I loved it from the moment I started. I would like to reread it again to see if it still stands.

Witches Abroad (Discworld #12) by Terry Pratchett

I picked this book up on a whim when I needed to make a train-trip of 3 hours for school once. I read it during that trip and liked it a lot. It was very funny, like most Discworld novels are.

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine’s #1) by Ransom Riggs

I picked this book up because I liked the pictures within and even without reading the synopsis I started reading it. I really liked it and immediately made me want to read more of this world. I still really like this book because it felt really original.

The Fifth Wave (The 5th Wave #1) by Rick Yancey

When I heard of this books release, I needed to have it. I liked the synopsis and the more I read, the more I liked it. I am very sad the series is over now, but I liked the complete trilogy.

For now, let books enrich your life!
