On My Shelf #41

On My Shelf is an original feature inspired by the On My Shelf tag. Each time I will take 5 random books from my shelves and tell you about them (how I got them, what I think of them etc.), and if they are in Dutch I will write a small synopsis of them.
I will roll some dice to find out which books it will be.

Shaman at Stonewylde (Stonewylde #5) by Kit Berry

I think I got this as soon as it came out and for a long time did not read it. I read it this year for the first time. I did not want to read it without rereading the entire series, which I did together with my best friend. And it was a lot of fun.

The Lost Symbol (Robert Langdon #3) by Dan Brown

I bought this book secondhand in Athens, Greece, during my internship there. I liked it, it was not as well written as The DaVinci Code, but I don’t think it was bad.

Retrograde (Airship Pirate #2) by Robert Brown

I got this book for my birthday last year. I enjoyed it. But it was not as great as The Wrath of Fate because it is basically the same as the first, just from a different perspective.

Rising Action (The Wicked + The Divine #4) by Kieron Gillen

I honestly have not read this. I had it on pre-order and received it when it came out in October. But as I realised November was coming up I wanted to use it as a thing I could do next to writing during NaNo. Unfortunately did I not get to reading it during that time and now I still have not gotten to it.

Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass #4) by Sarah J. Maas

I bought Queen of Shadows after reading it from the library and loving it. I enjoyed myself a lot with this book. I found it better than the Heir of Fire. I just binge bought the entire Throne of Glass series.

P.S. I completely forgot to upload a On My Shelf post last week. I am super sorry about that and only remembered on Tuesday. So

For now, let books enrich your life!
