On My Shelf is an original feature inspired by the On My Shelf tag. Each time I will take 5 random books from my shelves and tell you about them (how I got them, what I think of them etc.), and if they are in Dutch I will write a small synopsis of them.
I will roll some dice to find out which books it will be.

The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

I saw this book a couple of weeks ago and needed to have it. It is pink and has the drawings in it! I think it from some special version of a publisher or bookstore. I have not read it yet, because I just bought it very recently.

The Faust Act (The Wicked + The Divine Vol. 1) by Kieron Gillen

I bought this comic because it was featured on Geek & Sundry’s Signal Boost and I thought it sounded pretty interesting. I liked it so far, since I am in the process of reading it right now.

Magyk (Septimus Heap #1) by Angie Sage

I bought Magyk when I was just browsing the bookstore and found the book. It sounded interesting and liked it. Later I bought more books from the series, but never actually finished the whole series.

Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

The Last Star (The 5th Wave #3) by Rick Yancey

Of course I bought this book. It is the end over a very good series. I enjoyed The 5th Wave series until the last book very much and also this one I liked so much! I am sad it is over, but I liked the way it was told and it is also a pretty cool story. And most of all it did not disappoint.
