#GetGraphic Readathon tbr

Some time ago I found the Get Graphic Readathon. I think Samantha from Thoughts of Tomes announced it and it is happening right now! At least for me. It is from 5 p.m. until midnight on Sunday of whatever timezone you are it.

Seeing as it right now just past 6 o’clock in my timezone, technically the readathon has already been going on for over an hour. But I wanted to let you guys know about this readathon.

Some info about the readathon:
Get Graphic Readathon is a weekend-long readathon focuused on reading things like comics, graphic novels and manga – basically anything illustrated. The readathon is the brainchild of BOOKadoodles, Whatskappening and PerpetualPages on YT and you can follow the fun on the #GetGraphic Twitter account

I am trying to complete all the challenges they have set for this years readathon and with my tbr I know I will make it, as long as I finish them all.

The challenges are:
1) Read from a new-to-you series
2) Read two installments of the same series
3) Read a work over 300 pages
4) Read a work with black and white art
5) Read a work picked by a friend
6) Read at least 5 works

I only plan to read 5 graphic novels because I have quite a bunch to do this weekend, but still wanted to participate.

The graphic novels I am planning on reading are:
USNA – The United States of North America by Harry Kalensky, David Longworth and Allan Stanleigh
USNA II – book 1 by Harry Kalensky, David Longworth and Allan Stanleigh
USNA II – book 2 by Harry Kalensky, David Longworth and Allan Stanleigh
USNA II – book 3 by Harry Kalensky, David Longworth and Allan Stanleigh
Watchmen by Alan Moore

I received the USNA graphic novels from the author(s) himself for review purpurses, but haven’t gotten to them yet and so they are new-to-me, they are more then two installments of the same series and the art is in black and white. Watchmen was picked out by a friend of mine, he wanted me to read it so we could watch them movie and so I am doing it and since it is also over 300 pages, it also counts for that one. And together these are 5 works. So I am planning to read them all and finish all the 6 challenges.

I should get to reading them.
