O.W.L.s Read-a-thon 2018 Wrap-up

O.W.L.s Read-a-thon 2018 Wrap-up

Midway through July I decided to join in the O.W.Ls Read-a-thon that some people were doing to catch up in time for the N.E.W.T.s Read-a-thon, happing next month.

I had a good time having my tbr for this month being decided by these prompt. I forgot to say much about it on twitter and update you guys here too much. But I did want to let you know how it went.

Because I basically was already halfway done by the time I notified you that I was doing this, I wasn’t all to worried about making it. But I only finished my last book for the read-a-thon yesterday evening because I got distracted by other books.

In the end I reread Everless by Sara Holland for Potions because I really couldn’t come up with anything that had to do with alchemy. So my entire subject list is finished with the following books.

Ancient Runes – Snow Like Ice by Sara Raasch
Arithmancy – The Thousandth Floor by Katharine McGee
Astronomy – Heart of Iron by Ashley Poston
Care of Magical Creatures – **American Gods by Neil Gaiman*
Charms – Ice Like Fire by Sara Raasch
Defense Against the Dark Arts – The Young Elites by Marie Lu
Divination – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
Herbology – The Rose Society by Marie Lu
History of Magic – Things Bright and Beautiful by Anbara Salam
Muggle Studies – Why Zebras Don’t Get Ulcers by Robert M. Sapolsky
Potions – Everless by Sara Holland
Transfiguration – Borne by Jeff VanderMeer

I enjoyed reading so many new books and a couple of new authors. I am already trying to figure out which books I am going read for my N.E.W.T.s next month, but I think I am not going to do all twelve subject because I am going to super busy too.

For now let books enrich your life!
