On My Shelf #10

On My Shelf

On My Shelf is an original feature inspired by the On My Shelf tag. Each time I will take 5 random books from my shelves and tell you about them (how I got them, what I think of them etc.), and if they are in Dutch I will write a small synopsis of them.
I will roll some dice to find out which books it will be.

The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas

I bought the Three Musketeers at a big event for books. The event was awesome and big! I bought it because I want to read the classics and I think this is one of them. I have not found the time to read it yet. But we will see when I do.

Inkheart (Inkworld #1) by Cornelia Funke

Bought Inkheart because the movie was going to come out soon and amazing characters in it. I think the book is a bit dry to read.

Dead Until Dark (Sookie Stackhouse #1) by Charlaine Harris

A classmate of mine suggested this book to me back in college. I read it then and liked it, but wasn’t up to reading 13 books, so I quite reading them.

Dune (Dune #1) by Frank Herbert

I bought this book secondhand because I liked the picture on the cover and I recognised the author. I only read it when I first watched the movie a few years back. I liked it even though its a bit dry.

City of Masks (Stravaganza #1) by Mary Hoffman

I love this series! I bought it because it had a beautiful cover.

I hope you enjoy my weekly rants on my books. If you have some suggestion for me what to buy next, let me know in the comments or contact me!

For now, let books enrich your life!
