Recap April 2016

In Recap I will tell you guys what I read this month, what books I bought this month and how far I am with my Goodreads Reading Challenge.

I was happy March was over so soon, after starting off with two books unfinished from the month before. This month went really well. I went past 60% of my Goodread Reading Challenge and the year is not half over yet. Next month will be busy, because I am moving.

Read

Since I started on the novellas from the Throne of Glass series last month I finished the other three this month. And then moved on to Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare and Red Queen and Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard. Not knowing what to read next I read the comic Rat Queens vol 1: Sass and Sorcery by Kurtis J. Wiebe and loved it, then I started the Shades of Magic series with A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab first. In the mean time I also read Rat Queens vol 2: The Far Reaching Tentacles of N’Rygoth by Kurtis J. Wiebe. I also found time to read Fairest and Stars Above by Marissa Meyer and Room by Emma Donoghue.

I am still busy reading the Stonewylde series by Kit Berry, We finished Moondance at Stonewylde and Solstice at Stonewylde and started on Shadows at Stonewylde

Bought

I bought only the first two volumes of Rat Queens.

Goodread Reading Challenge

I passed 60% of my reading goal this year. This month I read 4 books of my TBR, 2 rereads and 8 books that weren’t even on my TBR. This gets me to 20 books from TBR, 11 non-TBR reads and a total of 46 books.
