Book Review: The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman

Forgiveness is not a feeling; it is a commitment

The 5 Love Languages might seem a little bit random for Books in Character. But I do think it is a useful tool to learn things about yourself and the ones you care about. This is just a very short review, but I thought I should bring this book to everyone’s attention.

I give The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman five our of five hearts because it gives the reader more background information on and how to use the 5 Love Languages.

The 5 Love Languages are five different ways of telling someone you love/like them. If you do the test on the website you will learn what you yourself prefer and the people around you do it too and you talk about it, it will help you understand each other better.

The book doesn’t help so much in finding out what your own Love Language is, but it will make you think and understand what this says about you.

I loved reading this book to see how Gary Chapman got to these 5 types of love. It has improved my relationships and it made me understand the people around me too. If you think your relationship is a drag, be sure to check this book out. But everyone can do with a little more understanding of themselves and others.
