On My Shelf
On My Shelf is an original feature inspired by the On My Shelf tag. Each time I will take 5 random books from my shelves and tell you about them (how I got them, what I think of them etc.), and if they are in Dutch I will write a small synopsis of them.
I will roll some dice to find out which books it will be.
Search for Senna (Everworld #1) by Katherine Applegate
I bought the Dutch version of this book secondhand after my best friend let me borrow her books. I really liked the story, but was very sad there are only 5 books translated to Dutch. I might try to get these books in English and the rest of them too.
Pure (Pure #1) by Julianna Baggot
Oh wow, it’s been a while since I had this book in my hands even though it is only 4 years old. I read this book when it came out and was pretty exciting when I finished it. But I can hardly remember what it was about. And also never got the second and third book in this series
Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices #1) by Cassandra Clare
I bought this book because it is part of the Shadowhunter Chronicles, I still don’t know what I really think about this book. I liked it, but did not like the characters all that much. I do look forward to the next book and hope to figure out before that time what I think about the series.
Princess Academy (Princess Academy #1) by Shannon Hale
I got this book as a present when I was younger. I never read it, until I found this book on Goodreads again and wanted to read it. So I read it, it was funny but kind of childish for me. It was enough for me to read it and be happy with it.
The Solitude of Prime Numbers by Paolo Giordano
I think this book is very well written. I bought it after I heard a lot of great reviews on it and found it for pretty cheap. I would like to reread it again when I have some time again.
I hope you enjoy my weekly rants on my books. If you have some suggestion for me what to buy next, let me know in the comments or contact me!
