Recap: March 2019

Recap March 2019

In Recap I will tell you guys what I read this month and how far I am with my Goodreads Reading Challenge.

I am not happy with my reading speed this month. I started a book this month and fought with it for a week before deciding to stop it. This was the first book in years I did not finish and to make things even worse I started reading Traitor to the Throne by Alwyn Hamilton as an audiobook and couldn’t finish because the audiobook service I use had a corrupt file. So now I am stuck at 60%. I do have the paperback so I guess I am going to pick that up whenever I feel like it.

I wish I could make myself write more reviews than I am currently doing, but I am having a hard time focusing on my tasks as it is and so I won’t be releasing more reviews a week than I am now. I am sorry for this. But my reading is still going steady so I do hope to be able to provide you with at least once a week without breaks.

Read

I have only started reading 15 books and finished 13, which was a bit upsetting. But March has past and April will have enough days to read more books, right? I did read three books which were only released during March.

The books I read this month were The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman, Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton, Minimalist Parenting by Asha Dornfest & Christine Koh, Caraval by Stephanie Garber, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling, The Queen’s Rising & The Queen’s Resistance by Rebecca Ross, The Near Witch & The Ash-Born Boy by V.E. Schwab, The Portal by Kathryn Lasky, Sherwood by Meagan Spooner, The Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis and The Little Book of Hygge by Meik Wiking.
