This up coming month I had not many books I am looking forward to reading. So here they are!

Brian K. Vaughan – Saga Vol 6
Victoria Schwab – This Savage Song (Monsters of Verity #1)
J.K. Rowling – Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Saga Vol 6 by Brian K. Vaughan (July 5)

Synopsis

After a dramatic time jump, the three-time Eisner Award winner for Best Continuing Series continues to evolve, as Hazel begins the most exciting adventure of her life: kindergarten. Meanwhile, her star-crossed family learns hard lessons of their own.

I like this comic so much! I already received the message it has been dispached from the store, so I will receive my copy soon.

This Savage Song (Monsters of Verity #1) by Victoria Schwab (July 5)

Synopsis

There’s no such thing as safe in a city at war, a city overrun with monsters. In this dark urban fantasy from author Victoria Schwab, a young woman and a young man must choose whether to become heroes or villains—and friends or enemies—with the future of their home at stake. The first of two books.

Kate Harker and August Flynn are the heirs to a divided city—a city where the violence has begun to breed actual monsters. All Kate wants is to be as ruthless as her father, who lets the monsters roam free and makes the humans pay for his protection. All August wants is to be human, as good-hearted as his own father, to play a bigger role in protecting the innocent—but he’s one of the monsters. One who can steal a soul with a simple strain of music. When the chance arises to keep an eye on Kate, who’s just been kicked out of her sixth boarding school and returned home, August jumps at it. But Kate discovers August’s secret, and after a failed assassination attempt the pair must flee for their lives.

I really liked the Shade of Magic books, so I am looking forward to reading something new by Victoria Schwab.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling (July 31)

Synopsis

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes darkness comes from unexpected places.

A new Harry Potter book. I am so looking forward to this, even though it is supposed to be more like a script kind of thing then an actual novel. Hopefully it will be on my mat the day it comes out.
