Recap October 2017
In Recap I will tell you guys what I read this month and how far I am with my Goodreads Reading Challenge.
The year is coming to an end, with only 2 months left I am busy this month with NaNoWriMo. So last month I tried to finish up all the novels that I was still reading and get ready for writing my first draft on a new story.
Read
During October 2017 I read so many books and graphic novels! I tried to read a novel every weekend and if they were short I tried to finish more. Because of this my list this month consists of: Golden Son and Morning Star by Pierce Brown, * Dividing Eden by Joelle Charbonneau*, Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Hollow City and Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs, The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling*, A Study in Scarlet by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, Turtles All the Way Down by John Green*, The Inexplicable Logic of My Life by Benjamin Alire Sáenz and I reread Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff.
I also participated in the Get Graphic readathon and for this I read Watchmen by Alan Moore and USNA I, USNA II vol 1, USNA II vol 2 and USNA II vol 3 by Harry Kalensky, Davy Longworth and Allan Stanleigh.
Goodread Reading Challenge
In total I am now at 134 novels read in 2017, of which were 26 rereads and 15 2017 releases. I read the most books this year by Leigh Bardugo, which means I read all of her books this year. This year I read 35 standalones and 59 different series. The thickest novel I read was A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin and the thinnest was Brair Rose by the brothers Grimm.
